Recent studies show that physical activity can reduce heart disease, fight and regulate diabetes, lower cholesterol, reduce anxiety and depression, improve memory and cognition, reduce the risk of Alzheimer's and prevent, reduce severity and aid in recovery from stroke. Adults should get at least 2 1/2 hours of moderate exercise and at at least two days of strength training a week.
